Welcome!

As-Salamu Alaykum

Peace be upon you all

Welcome to DukeMSA.org. I would like to add a special shoutout (and salaams) to Duke University's Class of 2014. Congratulations on making the best decision of your life in attending this fine institution! I hope this website will familiarize you with everything you need to know about being a Muslim at Duke. If not, you can always shoot an e-mail to one of MSA's executive board members (found in About MSA). After you have checked out our MSA and subscribed to our listserv, be sure to check out the information under Muslim Life at Duke, especially the Center for Muslim Life, which is the only dedicated building for Muslims on any American university campus. Duke is also unique in its hiring of our very own Muslim chaplain, Abdullah Antepli. While these blessings play a large role in facilitating Muslim involvement on Duke's campus, they are in no way reserved just for Muslims and should be seen as valuable resources for the entire Duke community. That being said, feel free to take a look around our website and do not hesitate to forward any of your questions or concerns here.

Also, please note that Ramadan will be beginning around the 11th of August 2010, which is before the start of the fall semester. Information regarding Ramadan and Eid is available on this website and specifics will be provided as the time approaches.
