Summer Information

Jummah

Due to decreased student presence during the summer, there will be no Jummah (Friday) prayers at the York Room, and the only Jummah prayers held on campus will be at Duke Hospital North. Directions to Duke Hospital North and further information about Jummah can be found here. Local mosques also hold their own respective Jummah prayers. Their contact information can be found here.

Prayer Room and Group Prayers

The prayer room location has also changed to the room directly across from its previous location. There will be no regularly scheduled group prayers. General information about the prayer room can be found here.

Other Activities and the Center for Muslim Life

Just because most people are away from Duke's campus for the summer does not mean that fellow Muslims and Dukies are completely nonexistent on campus! If there is any interest to schedule meetings, events, dinners, or quiet get-togethers, please contact Ahmad Jitan. More information on the Center for Muslim Life can be found here.
